6. SELF-EVALUATION ABILITY

How to convince others of its relevance?

At first glance, self-appraisals may seem like a performance

management tool to keep employees on track. But it's more than just a
tool to help employees achieve company goals. It helps employees

grow, develop and ultimately reach their full potential. Here are
            benefits of self-assessment:

Improved performance - self-evaluation has a positive impact on

personal and professional development, improves performance and
                 self-directed learning skills.

·Improved employee engagement - Self-evaluation is the beginning
of open, clear and transparent communication between managers

and employees. When employees understand what is expected of
them and what they need to work on, you can increase employee

                 engagement.

Improved decision making ability - managers need to have a clear
understanding of your employees' strengths and opportunities.
When leading a team, it's important to know when (and where) to

prioritize certain employees and their potential to grow.

Better goal setting - Self-evaluation is used by managers to highlight
employees' achievements, set future goals, identify employees'
weaknesses, and assess how they can help employees improve
