12. SELF-CONFIDENCE BUILDING AND

         TOLERANCE

Set personal goals - If you want to progress in your

career, take your time and analyze each step you have to
take and what new skills, competences and courses you

have to build, develop and attend to achieve your goal in
a certain time frame. Take one small step at the time and

evaluate your performances and improvements after
each step. You will see the difference, and this will

                  increase your self-confidence.

Learn from own mistakes - When you have a busy

schedule and numerous tasks to handle mistakes are
inevitable. You do not have to fear them. They are not a

failure indicator, instead, they offer opportunities for
personal and professional growth. How you handle and

learn from mistakes significantly impacts your self-
                  confidence and career progression.

Avoid negative approach - Your self-perception greatly

influences your self-confidence and tolerance levels.
When you hold a negative self-image and constantly

criticize yourself, it not only affects your confidence but
also diminishes your tolerance towards others.

Practicing self-compassion and tolerance is crucial to
enhance confidence and foster personal and

                  professional growth.

Ask questions - If you lack courage to speak up during

meetings, ask questions. Set an objective for yourself to
ask at least one question in every meeting, prepare it

beforehand if necessary and simply do it. This will show
colleagues and superiors that you are interested in the

topics, you are engaged in the company’s activities and
want to be part of future development.
