During the project development, a study was conducted to identify the gender gap in the telecom
and ICT sectors, SMEs and public institutions. The results of the study included information
regarding common biases, misconceptions, and possible barriers in the development of women
inclusion in the digital sector. The main identified factor of the gender gap in the ICT sector was
education. This discovery led to the organization of another study that tried to identify the
attractiveness and motivation of women for a career in the digital sector.
