4. INDEPENDENT PROBLEM SOLVING

Cases of application for the job market

Imagine that you need to illustrate your strengths in the workplace. If
independent problem solving is one of them your response could look

             like one of these cases:

              A.

In my role in the previous marketing agency, we were in a critical moment

of a major campaign, when our key vendor unexpectedly faced logistical
issues, jeopardizing the timely delivery of crucial campaign materials.

Despite the vendor assurance that the problem will be fixed promptly, I

realise the danger to our ability to meet final deadline, and right away
looked for alternative suppliers with similar capabilities and contacted

them to negotiate the condition of potential delivery.

At the same time, I reached out to the internal team to assess our ability

to develop the required materials in-house, as an alternative way to
mitigate the delays caused by the vendor's issue.

         By presenting both options—

         alternative vendor and in-house
         production—to the project

         stakeholders with detailed analyses,
we collectively decided on the backup
         vendor solution. This decision

minimized the impact on the project
         timeline and ensured the seamless

         execution of the marketing campaign.
