5. AUTONOMOUS LEARNING AND WORK
How to convince others of its relevance?
Showcase past actions - present specific examples from your
previous jobs where your autonomy resulted in positive outcomes
or improvements.
Focus on the benefits - share how your initiative contributed to
increased efficiency, cost savings, improved processes, or enhanced
customer satisfaction.
Show the relevance of autonomy under unexpected circumstances -
discuss cases where your autonomy allowed you to react quickly in
the face of unforeseen circumstances and/or adapt to changes. Use
it to emphasize your ability to take proactive steps independently
and the critical importance of this ability when things go sideways
.
Make sure that your autonomy is not confused with not being a team
player - Explain how your autonomous initiatives positively
influenced team performance or collaboration, demonstrating that
your autonomy complements teamwork rather than hinders it.
